Or at least this is where you come in!

In the process of scrolling through a myriad of captures the idea of writing prompts was born. I needed a prompt, and was looking for inspiration from some photos. But the inspiration instead was for a 'challenge'.

How many times have you sat starting at the stark white blank page pondering what words to use to cut into that starkness, sully the purity of the page, begin to bring meaning to ... life? Yes, I heard you... "Countless!"

And I recalled a time, many (many!) years ago when we gathered in the corner of the interwebs (formerly known as 'LiveJournal', yes, I'm that old!) and took up the challenges of writing stories spurred on from simple phrases, or even just a few words.

And so the challenge idea was conceived, gestated, and born. And is still growing. It's sort of in the tweens at the moment. That sticky age between infancy and teenager. Yeah, that one.

So while it's all coming together, we're starting a community where you can find others who've wandered in for a poke around and a bemused perusal of the locale.
